Partagas Linea Maestra Maestro

The Partagás Línea Maestra Maestro is the flagship of the ultra-premium Línea Maestra collection, introduced at the 2023 Habanos Festival. This line marks a new era for Partagás, offering a modern, luxurious extension to the brand - much like Cohiba’s Behike or Montecristo’s Línea 1935. The Maestro is the largest vitola in the series and features a distinctive 109-style “Cabeza Tumbada” (dropped head), a nod to classic Cuban craftsmanship. Dressed in striking blue bands and finished with a rare Cabeza Tumbada cap, everything about this new Línea from Partagás is new and surprising. A new, but still full flavoured, blend of tobacco from the world's favourite full flavoured Habanos.

The Partagás brand was established by Don Jaime Partagás y Ravelo, a Spanish immigrant who became a pioneer in the Cuban cigar industry. He was among the first to experiment with fermentation and aging techniques, and he introduced the tradition of employing a “reader” to entertain and educate factory workers - a practice that continues in Havana today. Don Jaime acquired prime plantations in the Vuelta Abajo region, renowned for producing the world’s finest tobacco. This commitment to quality raw materials set Partagás apart from its inception. Don Jaime Partagás was a visionary but met a tragic end - he was murdered on one of his plantations in 1868. The brand passed through several hands, including the Cifuentes family, who expanded its reach and influence.
