Overview And Tasting Notes
The Plasencia Cosecha 151 La Música Robusto is a bold, full-bodied Honduran puro crafted entirely from tobaccos grown and harvested by the Plasencia family. A Robusto measuring 5" × 50, it commemorates the family’s 151st consecutive tobacco harvest — an unbroken line dating back to 1865. The blend focuses on Criollo ’98 leaf harvested in 2016–2017 and is rolled at Tabacos de Oriente in Honduras. Brimming with flavour and intensity, it’s a rich, complex, impeccably constructed cigar — 100% Honduran tobacco from a single window of harvests. Cigar Aficionado likened it to a slice of fruitcake, with baking spices, candied fruit, walnut and molasses, and a rum-barrel oaky finish over an open, even draw.

About Plasencia
Plasencia is a legendary name in premium cigars, with a family tobacco heritage dating back to 1865. Now in its fifth generation, the Plasencia family is one of the largest growers of premium tobacco in the world — supplying leaf to many of the industry’s most famous brands — while producing acclaimed cigars under its own label, blended by Néstor Andrés Plasencia. The family’s mastery of terroir is the thread through their range. Their Reserva Original line is a landmark achievement — the world’s first cigar made entirely from 100% certified organic tobacco — reflecting a dedication to quality, tradition and environmental stewardship that sets the family apart.

A bold, full-bodied Honduran puro, rich as Christmas fruitcake.
- Initial Third: Opens with Maragogipe-style roasted coffee and pecans, with dark chocolate and prune adding depth and a subtle sweetness.
- Middle Third: Baking spices, candied fruit and molasses emerge — reminiscent of Christmas fruitcake — with walnut and oak developing a nutty, woody complexity.
- Final Third: A long, harmonious finish of lingering cinnamon, oak and a rum-barrel-like effect; bold and clean, never harsh, showcasing the best of Honduran tobacco.
- Aroma: A bouquet of roasted coffee, nuts, dark chocolate and subtle baking spices, with a creamy, slightly sweet undertone.
- Mouthfeel: Dense and flavour-forward, with a velvet-like texture, excellent draw and an even burn.
