Les Fines Lames — "the fine blades" in French — is one of the most distinctive and design-led names in the world of cigar accessories. Founded in Marseille in 2015, the brand reinvented the humble cigar cutter with the cigar knife: a two-in-one accessory that combines the elegance of a traditional folding pocket knife with the precision of a cigar cutter. Every piece is designed in the South of France and crafted in Thiers, France’s historic capital of cutlery, drawing on over 600 years of French blade-making tradition.

The story begins with founder Pierre Jourdan — a cigar lover with French cutlery in his blood (his grandfather was a cutler). Frustrated by the clutter of separate cigar accessories, he set out to combine a cutter with a beautiful everyday-carry object. With two friends — "the three musketeers of the cigar world" — he launched the first model, L’Original, as artisanal, one-of-a-kind pieces, and the now-famous Les Fines Lames logo was born.

The turning point came with business partner Pablo Rodet and a shared ambition: a high-quality, 100% French-made cigar cutter at an accessible price. The answer was Le Petit — a compact, refined cigar knife launched via what became one of the most successful cigar-related crowdfunding campaigns of its time. It became a global sensation (the brand even sent three Le Petit models into space — a cigar-world first). In 2021 the community rallied again for the Punch Bracelet, a wearable punch cutter. Today Les Fines Lames offers a full line of premium, French-made cigar accessories, and has since joined the Vandermarliere Cigar Family.
