A Landmark Weekend for the Tobacco Industry

From May 16-18, 2025, WhittleburyHall in Northamptonshire was transformed into the beating heart of the UK's independent tobacco retail sector during IGNITE 2025. Hosted by the Association of Independent Tobacco Specialists (AITS), this now-iconic trade show brought together retailers, suppliers, distributors, and industry experts for a lively weekend packed with networking, product launches, seminars, and first-class entertainment.

Event Highlights

Friday Fiesta: The weekend kicked off with the famous Friday Fiesta hosted by Tor Imports. Attendees savoured fine cigars, enjoyed signature cocktails and a bespoke BBQ buffet, and relaxed to live music.

Saturday: main day of the exhibition, featuring 18+ leading suppliers across 4,300sq ft of show space. Key brands and exhibitors included Hunters & Frankau, Tor Imports, Bright Leaf, Davidoff, 1573 Cigars, Global Leaf Co, Kiskeya, CharatonLondon, Barkers of Harrogate, and more.

Cigar launches were a major draw, with major unveilings.

Sunday: the final day featured more networking, additional seminar -such as a Montecristo 90th anniversary tasting session -and culminated in the Hunters & FrankauCigar & Champagne Reception. The event wrapped with the Chairman's Address and a parting “goody bag” for attendees.
