Overview

The Cohiba Lanceros is the purist’s Cohiba — the original vitola of Cuba’s most prestigious marca, and one of the most elegant cigars Havana produces. This is a vintage 2015 box, English Market Selection (EMS), of the slender 192mm × 38 ring gauge Laguito No.1 — the very format created at the El Laguito factory for Fidel Castro and reserved, in the brand’s early years, for diplomatic gifts and heads of state. Long, refined and demanding of the highest rolling skill, the Lancero is revered by connoisseurs as the closest expression of the original Cohiba blend. A decade of age has rounded and married its flavours beautifully.
