Rafael Gonzalez was founded in 1928, originally as “La Flor de Marquez,” and officially registered as Rafael Gonzalez in 1936. The brand was relaunched in 1965 after a brief hiatus. - Initial Draw: Creamy aroma with dried leaves, nutty and grassy notes.

- First Third: Medium-full body with earthiness, creaminess, and prominent redwood notes, core flavours of nuts (peanuts, macadamia), white pepper, and a hint of lemon, retrohale reveals toasty bread, lemon, and green grape, with a mild, easy spice.

- Second Third: Strength picks up slightly, with light leather and more pronounced nutty and cocoa notes, flavours become less distinct but remain balanced and refined. 

- Final Third: Flavours mellow, with a subtle, non-descript finish.
