Diplomáticos is a distinguished Cuban cigar brand launched in 1966 during Cuba’s post-revolutionary era. Originally, the brand debuted with five vitolas that mirrored the formats of the iconic Montecristo Nos. 1 to 5, aiming to offer a slightly milder and more approachable alternative. Over time, Diplomáticos became renowned for its quality and close resemblance to Montecristo cigars, earning a loyal following among aficionados and collectors. While the lineup once included several sizes, today the Diplomáticos No. 2 remains a staple, celebrated for its robust yet balanced profile and expert craftsmanship using tobacco from the famed Vuelta Abajo region.
